Language Ladder
このコンテンツについて
This is a great way to introduce children to the world of language learning without any screen time. Language Ladder's Yoruba course is designed to help kids learn the words and phrases they need to quickly start speaking Yoruba. Our short daily lessons are designed to keep kids engaged, and our timed repetition method helps to improve retention. The course is divided into 28 sessions with a total length of approximately 13 hours.
In addition to teaching vocabulary, we also focus on the most commonly used words and phrases, often using a "frequency dictionary" approach. This means that your child will learn words that they are likely to use on a regular basis, and will be able to see quick results from their language learning efforts.
This course also includes detailed sections in English on effective strategies for learning new languages, as well as tips on how to continue learning once the course is complete. Over 500 different words and phrases are included across more than 30 themes, topics, and sections, covering key building blocks such as greetings, adjectives, quantities, questions and responses, colors, places, emotions, time, food, transport, animals, and positions. Our multiple sentence construction examples provide plenty of practice, and although grammar is only taught through example in this audiobook, which focuses on speaking and oral comprehension, your child will have all the tools they need to start speaking Yoruba confidently.
This is a fun and engaging way to learn the Yoruba language. Yoruba is a language spoken in West Africa, primarily in Nigeria. It is estimated that there are about 30 million Yoruba speakers, making it one of the most widely spoken African languages. The Yoruba language is a member of the Niger-Congo language family, and has its roots in the ancient Yoruba people and cultures of West Africa. The Yoruba language is used for communication in a wide variety of contexts including everyday usage.
