  • S5 Episode 3 - Clothes from the Future
    2023/07/06

We speak to innovators in #business, #startups, #academia and #policy about their work in #CDR, #AIethics, #digitalethics #sustainability, #SDGs and #digital #innovation.

For the past couple of years, I've been fascinated by a London clothing start up called Vollebak. Vollebak makes 'clothes from the future' - as they state, OUR CLOTHING TACKLES THE FUNDAMENTAL CHALLENGES OF OUR TIME - and specifically across their key missions of Climate, Space, Sustainability and Health.

In this episode, Rob speaks to co-founder STEVE TIDBALL about Vollebak, why they started, how they innovate and use technology to create a distinctive and disruptive clothing business for the future.

In the context of CDR, this is a conversation that firmly sits in the innovating with technology to push boundaries and explore how the future could be re-imagined.

  • S5 Episode 2 - Digitalt Samfunnsansvar
    2023/06/20

A New #DigitalResponsibility is a podcast for technologists and businesses who want to make a positive impact on people and planet. We speak to innovators in #business, #startups, #academia and #policy about their work in #CDR, #AIethics, #digitalethics #sustainability, #SDGs and #digital #innovation.

In February, GoForIT launched the Norwegian version of the CDR Manifesto, which you can find here . My thanks to Leif, Pia and Ida for their support with that translation. A few months on, we return to Norway (virtually) to talk again with Leif, Pia and Anders about their thoughts on the need for Digital Responsibility in Norway, and the collaborative approach between public and private sector, academia, enterprise and SME that is driving the evolution of Digitalt Samfunnsansvar, or Digital Societal Responsibility. Really insightful conversation about "Wickedly complex problems" and a desire for local examples, mapped out to the Principles of the Manifesto to inspire others to follow.

My many thanks to our guests Pia Virmalainen Jøsendal, Leif Skiftenes Flak and Anders Waage Nilsen.
