Tania’s background is in psychology and at the point she was choosing to complete her PhD, she decided to start her own business instead. Tania went on to co found LifeLabs Learning, which helps train managers, executives and teams to create more harmonious workplaces. LifeLabs Learning has since helped over 350,000 people from a whole range of companies including, Slack, Reddit, Tinder and SquareSpace.

Tania is also the author of the best selling and highly acclaimed book, "The Leader Lab", which provides managers with a Swiss Army Knife of skills that help them handle the toughest of situations. She is also a columnist for Psychology Today and is a TED Talk Speaker – so pretty much knows everything there is to know about business and psychology.

Stacey has a unique story about her experience of starting a business. She had spent over 25 years working in corporate America, and had become senior vice president, before deciding to strike out on her own. 

However, she did something a bit different to other entrepreneurs, and chose to buy a franchise. She successfully ran her franchise for 16 years before selling it, and now dedicates her time helping other prospective franchisees go about choosing which franchise might be best for them.

Isabella graduated in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, yet despite the huge challenges for those entering the workforce at this time, she still managed to find a great job as the digital editor of a regional publication.

However, even though Isabella had aspired to work in journalism since she was 12, she decided to pivot and start her own business, Isa Media Inc. She now works as a content strategist, using all her experience of digital media and strategy to help clients and business owners increase their own profile on social media.

Megan Lowdon had over 10 years of experience in the event industry, and was working at the largest convention centre in Canada ,when the pandemic hit, and the entire hospitality sector was shut down. Eventually, Megan decided on a complete change in her career and partnered up with her husband Robert, who already had a well established commercial photography business. Megan was able to utilise the skills she had acquired within the events industry and apply them effectively to the benefit of her and her husband’s company.
