Marcus wakes up and gets ready for work tay and asks when will you be giving the money to the shop. Marcus says it's coming I just need you to finish school. That's all you should be worried about tay says I know but it looks like everything on you is starting to drain you. You pay the mortgage, and car note on both cars is that the reason why you don't wanna marry Marcus says no baby I just wanna give you the dream wedding. Everything will happen with time don't worry he kisses tay on the forehead and leaves. Marcus gets to work and sees Jeffery they walk into work together as they get into the elevator mercy pops up and comes inside as well. Mercy stares at Marcus and he looks back Jeffery says hey mercy. Mercy says hey while continuing to stare at Marcus they get to the floor and get off Marcus walks to his desk and mercy walks behind him. Slowly goes to her desk. Jeffrey comes behind Marcus and says I think she loves you. Marcus laughs and says yea I guess. But tay keeps asking me about marriage and kids. Jeffery says why wouldn't you marry her you love her right Marcus says yes but the time is not right. Money is low and she is still in school. And the last time she got a job her grades started to go down so she needs to focus. Jeffery says ok but you need to tell her that. Marcus says naw tay believes she can do anything you can't tell her that. Tay goes to her mom's house after school. And she asked her mom why Marcus will not marry me. Tay's mom says that's a good question y'all have been together for a long time. Do you think he is cheating on you? Tay says I don't think so I mean we have our locations on so I know where he is at all the time. Tay's mom says men can be slick you gotta make sure he not talking to one of those work girls. Tay says I don't think he would do that. Tay's mom says yea I didn't think your dad would do that either. Tay says ok mom and she goes home. Marcus is there and he is cooking tay comes in and says hey baby he smells good in here. She walks to the rooMarcus's's phone rings and tay answers it and it's a woman on the other line asking for Marcus tay says who is this and the person hangs up. Tay comes out of the room upset and yelling saying who the hell is calling you? Marcus says baby I don't know. I don't answer phones for numbers that are not saved in my phone tay says it sounded like a girl's voice are you cheating on me Marcus says no baby I promise you I don't know who that was. Tay tries to can the number back but gets no answer. You are lying that's why you won't marry me because you got someone else. Marcus says no. Tays walks away and slams the door and locks herself inside. Marcus sleeps on the couch that night. The next morning he gets up and knocks on the door tay says leave me alone. Marcus says I love you baby and leaves for work. Marcus phone rings but he does not answer. When be gets to work he tells Jeffery what happen and Jeffery says it could be mercy did give her your number she might be the one calling you.
