Richard Buckminster Fuller “Bucky” was an American architect, systems theorist, author, designer, inventor, philosopher, critic of work, and futurist. Bucky had one of the most fascinating and original minds of his century.

Born in 1895 in Milton, Massachusetts, he was the latest – if not the last – of the New England Transcendentalists. Bucky took an unconventional path and was inspired to find a way to use natural resources more efficiently to ensure there would be enough to take care of everyone, which is why we created an EARTHism specifically for him!

We thank you for your dream of a world where the resources of the planet would be equitably divided, to allow people all around the world to achieve a high standard of living with access to technologically-advanced housing and transportation.
