So Left work about a week and a half ago to find that my battery was dead. If you don't have AAA or something similar you should get it, it really pays to have it in the long run. Also myself included I'm going to look into getting jumper cables or a battery charger just so I have them. Put away extra money for the batteries as they have gone way up in price esp for the newer cars.

Start a garden or window vegetable garden. Also learn to identify wild edible and not so wild edible plants!

For those of you asleep or not participating in social media etc. Our American Government is once again screwing us... they are trying to push through this inflation reduction act which would Increase Government Spending by at least $790 Billion with a B dollars of money the US Government Doesn't have... For those of you that don't know the US Government doesn't have Any money!!! ALL if it comes from the Taxpayers, like you and me. So while they are on a free to them(spending spree) we are concerned about paying for gas and food. Which I don't know if you have noticed or not all of which has drastically increased. Also all of the property taxes have increased as well. Additionally in the bill they plan to hire more IRS workers with a $124 Billion with a B funding to Audit more American citizens. This is beyond the pale.

Everyone is going thru something, that said public freak outs by asshats-not acceptable. My heart goes out to my boss over the loss of her husband. My losses pale in comparison to it. Be kind, or at least try to be, which doesn't mean being a doormat either. It's hard to believe it is almost a year since my brother died, it feels both longer and shorter at the same time. Love your family and friends, you never know how long you'll have them.

It's so nice to feel appreciated for a job well done. Be thankful when it happens. People are beginning to have conversations again and not everyone is freaking out because of the fear porn. Which is another thing I am thankful for. Everyone is going through something instead of having it divide let it bring us closer together. That said if you are being a scared asshat... stay home

I was planning on recording a completely different topic but as I was remembering to send my brother and his wife a card so changed the topic of this podcast. I saw on her FB they had gone to the beach for their thirty third wedding anniversary!! Such a monumental accomplishment. I have to admit I’m jealous. I’m jealous of the beach too but I’m more jealous that they were able to find each other. I hopw they had a glorious time at the beach. I know it hasn’t been all unicorns and sunshine but they didn’t take the easy way out when there were challenges. I commend them for that it is too easy for people just up and leave whether they are married or not. I have never been fortunate to find someone to get married to but have been in a few longer term relationships so I know the give and take compromise can be hard at times. Even if you don't get married I feel long term committed relationships are totally worth the work involved.
