  • Coming August 20th 2024! Meridians is a show about history, science, and culture. I'm Charlie Noble, and I want to talk about the world.

I love history; I like dorking out about science. I like learning about other people.

Where do they come from? What's their story?

And Why is the Earth spinning?

How did we end up with the customs we have?

    Who was Atilla the Hun?

    Why do batteries work?

The show's format works like this: We start with a given topic and, through connected information, work our way to our final topic. The two topics may or may not be directly related. The fun part is connecting the two and learning about a bunch of new things. I don't want to rehash stuff we've all heard before. We'll get into the nitty gritty and ask some strange questions. And hopefully, we'll learn some things we've never learned before.

If you're chilling at home, driving to work, or doing some chores, Stop in and check out Meridians.

We'll always cover at least 3 topics, whether it be a person, place, or thing, or maybe the starting topic will be an idea or a concept. That's the fun part. I want to make each episode a wild ride or a trip you've never been on before.

The show will initially drop every two weeks on Tuesdays.

Episodes will probably be 1-2 hours in length.

If you're listening to this in 2024, you're on the ground floor of this podcast. I hope you stick around and learn along with me. Let's see where this goes.

Check out meridianspodcast.com for more info. I hope you listen to and enjoy the show. Thank you.
