In 2019 Sarah Sheridan and Laura Thompson's social enterprise business 'Clothing The Gap' was served a 'Cease and Desist' notice for their use of the Aboriginal flag on some of their products.
This would start a national movement to 'Free the Flag' and placed Sarah's and Laura's clothing label into the center of a media and legal firestorm.
