  • In this episode, we speak with Augie Duke, a madre who decided to say EFF IT when she was getting dismissed by her doctors in regards to a concern that she had, and decided to keep seeking out other opinions because she just felt in her gut that something was wrong. And, geez, was she right! Had she not said EFF IT and continued to seek out other opinions, the blood clot that she ended up having could’ve taken her life and that of her unborn child, which she had to deliver early due to this concern. And, funny how the universe works, aside from this concern, she also was terrified of the fact that she could possibly not work again as an actor after becoming a mom. But, 5 weeks after having her son, she got an audition for a one time spot, that ended turning into 15 episodes. Seems like divine timing to us! You just have to trust your gut when something feels off, and believe that you can keep doing what you love, even if it seems impossible.
