The most powerful social evil in our society is faithlessness. God is reversing the curse of fatherlessness. He is bringing about the return of fathers to the seven mountains of influence. He is bringing the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. This podcast is proof of that reality.

This podcast is a discussion of stories between my oldest son, Izaak and myself. Stories are told covering 3 generations. More importantly, the stories reveal touching, insightful truths about life that a father communicates to their children about their calling and destiny. Furthermore, the importance of knowing that you are loved just for who you are and not for what you do is a foundational truth for every child to understand.

When one considers their life from the perspective of what is personally most important, one would have to consider knowing who you are to be at the top of the list. How many people truly know who they are? And furthermore, what is their calling and destiny?

This podcast attempts to establish the connection between the presence of a father in a person's life and the role that father plays in God's design to bring forth their children's identity, calling and destiny. The Scriptural context for this is for a father to connect his children to God the Father.

God the Father has a design for the family. The father in the family plays a crucial role in the development of the children God has given to that family. If the father is removed from the family, many if not most of the next generation doesn't know who they are. Does this sound like an evil plan? You can bet it is.

In 1970, a woman named Kate Millet wrote a book entitled "Sexual Politics". The main intent of this book was to emasculate men insuring that young men did not grow up to be fathers. In 1970 the percentage of households in America with a traditional family of a father, mother and one or more children was 85% of the households. By 2025, the percentage of households constructed of a traditional family was 35%. That was a 50% drop. That is huge!

This podcast presents a solution that only God can bring about. The solution is manifold, however, it includes the return of fathers to America and the re-establishment of the traditional family.

How many people do you know have a heart after God? the Bible tells us King David had a heart after God. To those of you who know the story, David did some awful things in his life; many serious sins did he commit. Nonetheless, despite his behavior God still said David had a heart after God (Himself).

What did King David do that no other King did before or after him? One thing David did was create a tent in which prayer was offered to God 24/7. Every day, every hour of the day for years prayers were offered up to God from David's tent.

Many of you may not know that such a tent exists in Washington DC in our nations capital. David's tent is a large size tent on the Mall in Washington DC founded by a man with a heart after God. His name is Jason Hershey and this podcast is an interview with him.

Jason is an old friend, a father of nine children. He came out of YWAM background and God is using him to send a message. The desire to pray to God comes from a priest's heart.

Hence, the curse of fatherlessness in our society has been used by evil powers and principalities to reduce the number of nuclear family households in America to 35% of the households.

Do not fear. Do not get discouraged. Be of good cheer, for God our Father is turning the tide back by bringing the fathers back into our society and culture. Does anyone disagree that the most prevalent social ailment in our society is fatherlessness? I contend that fatherlessness in a curse on our nation. Furthermore, God intends to reverse this curse.

Families are being decimated by this curse. Only 35% of households in America are nuclear families with a father, a mother and at least one child. Think how much that has changed! 50 years ago the percentage was probably 75% or higher . In certain minority communities in the inner cities of America 85% of the households do not have a father.

The best solution to overcoming poverty in America is having a father present. Not only are fathers absent, many men who are present physically in the home do not know how to be a father to children. Hence, we have a lost generation.

Come listen to this podcast to get a glimpse into how God is reversing the cure of fatherlessness. It is the Father's desire to reverse the curse. To this end young men need to be trained to be fathers. Please note we are not saying they need to be taught; rather they need to be trained. This podcast denotes the difference between teaching and training.

There is a statement that states "A man with an experience is never at a loss to a man with an idea." Anyone can present to you an intellectual idea or argument. Thoughts are presented to our minds. Scripture tells us to walk by faith and not by sight. It also tells us to walk by our spirit man and put our spirit man first before our minds.

Our soul is composed of our mind, will and emotions. The enemy of our soul speaks to our soul, not our spirit. God our Father speaks to our spirit. Anyone who experiences a miracle is being given an invitation to have an encounter with God. .
