We've got a lot going on today - CFP rankings are out, CBB is starting and there is a lot we continue to see change. We've seen an immersion of technology in sports and Ian is leaning toward excluding it all together. Ian wants to know where the listeners stand on this. He's undecided. Could the Big 12 provide a path for Boise State to get a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff? Some of us root for the chaos - and it looks as though that could happen. Listeners weigh in on the future of replay and technology across sports. Steve Palazzolo, The 33rd Team gives us an evaluation of the winners and losers at the NFL trade deadline this season. There are a few highlights about teams that were supposedly rebuilding, but succeeding at a high rate. Steve gives us a mid-season breakdown of the Seahawks as they sit at 4-5 on the season. Jake Dickert, WSU Head Football Coach joins Ian to talk about the first CFP rankings that has the Cougs ranked #21 in the country. While times are changing, he's rolling with the various waves. While there are complaints about the changes across the NCAA, in his words 'complaining is not a solution, it's not a strategy'. He is very appreciative of the boosters that have stepped up, as well as the fans that do the best they can. Gary Parrish, CBS CBB Insider tells Ian that the same thing we heard from Coach Dickert on the 'recruiting' going on without tampering being illegal. Programs aren't focused on the future anymore in the world of the NIL - they need to build the best program they can right now. It's crazy the demands that are being made these days.
