  • You Already Have It
    2026/02/06

One of my favorite movies growing up was The Wizard of Oz. Yet it wasn’t until much later that I recognized its profound truth: the characters spent the entire journey on that yellow brick road searching for what they already possessed.

In the same way, the “wizard” of this world convinces us that we are incomplete — that we're lacking or missing out on something. This lie fuels discontentment, dulls our gratitude, and drives us to exhaust ourselves chasing the thing we already have.

If you're in Christ you already have everything you need. What more are you looking for?

    2026/01/30

Anything worth having in this life will cost you something - and the same is true of our relationship with God. Salvation is free, but discipleship will cost us our lives. For this reason, we should not think it strange when tests and trials come. Suffering is not optional for the Believer; it is part of God's redemptive plan.

Many of us want to experience the POWER of His resurrection without the fellowship of His suffering, but it doesn't work that way! Jesus Himself taught that those who suffer with Him will also reign with Him. No cross. No crown.

Therefore, we should endure hardship as a good soldier. Do not run from your trials or resist the testing of your faith. It's all a setup for your eternal reward!

  • Ain't Nothin' Wrong with You
    2026/01/23

The prosperity gospel has deceived many into believing that if we are not living a “dream life,” walking in perfect health, or experiencing visible wealth and influence, then we must lack faith or have somehow missed God - or worse, missed the blessing altogether. It’s all a lie! Ain’t nothin' wrong with you! In fact, it is often in seasons of waiting, suffering, and necessity that true riches are produced - the kind that draw us into deeper surrender and intimacy with the Father.

You haven't missed God, and what He has for you won't miss you! If He doesn't answer your prayers today, there is always "Tomorrow" - the day when all things are made new!

  • No More Selfies
    2026/01/16

Promotion of self has become one of the most pervasive forms of idolatry today. Technology has amplified this through our obsession with selfies, social media, and constant self-curation - shifting the focus from glorifying God to glorifying ourselves.

In 2 Timothy 3, Paul warns that “in the last days people will become lovers of themselves.” He was not speaking of unbelievers, but those who belong to God.

If we truly saw ourselves apart from grace, our hearts would echo the words of the Prophet Isaiah: "Woe is me!" Not, "Look at me!"

  • 100 Percent
    2026/01/09

There’s a popular catch phrase that’s trending, “100%”. I’m sure you’ve heard it and probably even said it yourself. It’s a quick way to signal total agreement or with absolute certainty. In other words, it’s a sure thing!

The mistake we’ve made is buying into the world’s “100%” - chasing the bag, trends, fads, and formulas that feel and look like success - even spiritual - but many of these pursuits are only mirages - promising fulfillment while quietly pulling our focus away from God.

    2025/12/26

We are called to live in the world, but not of the world – to be engaged without becoming entangled. As we move through daily life, it’s inevitable that we will pick up dirt from our interactions with a fallen culture. That is why it is a necessity to regularly wash our feet and cleanse our hearts and minds from worldly influences that cling to us. We wash our feet through prayer, worship and the washing of the water of the Word! This keeps our walk clean, our hearts aligned, and our lives marked by the presence of Christ rather than by the pressure of the culture around us.

If things got a little dusty today, no worries. Just go wash your feet!

  • Damaged Goods
    2025/12/19

Today's culture is deeply obsessed with external packaging - often measuring worth by appearance and perception rather than truth and substance.

But God operates by a different standard. He is not impressed by outside packaging, polish or perfection but the posture of your heart. Just because a package is damaged doesn't mean it doesn't have value. In God’s hands, what appears flawed on the outside often carries the greatest depth, power, and purpose on the inside.

    God absolutely loves damaged goods!
