    Greetings adult-children,

It was an honor to sit in a deep & meaningful conversation with my colleague & therapist Tricia Giambelluca in this episode about how to break the spell of scapegoat shame & feeling like an imposter in your romantic, work and platonic relationships.

We unpacked alot of misinformation about how these trauma loops get passed down to us yet we have the power to release, unpack and transform them without the need to blame and shame ourselves.

  • Gaslighting Your Inner Children
    2026/04/01

    Send us Fan Mail

    Greetings Adult Child,

In this latest episode, I sat down with my friend & mentor Leslie about the danger of gaslighting & emotionally invalidating your feelings. As survivors of childhood stress, neglect & trauma, most of us are taught to never speak our truth or trust our feelings which often lead to physical, mental & emotional suffering. This way of living locks us up in an endless looping system of self-abuse vs self-acceptance.

If you can relate, this conversation may help you remember that in every moment, your feelings are subject to change and as long as you speak clearly, kindly & compassionately with others & with yourself, you no longer need to seek approval or external validation from others, get gaslit by others and mostly gaslight and lie to ourselves.

    About my guest:

Leslie Lindsey Davis is a bestselling author, popular speaker, and creator of the Emotional Honesty Framework. She helps people recognize and trust their emotions—especially when they’ve spent years being told what they feel is wrong. Her work focuses on the connection between emotional invalidation and the habits we develop to cope, including patterns like emotional eating, self-doubt, and staying silent when something doesn’t feel right.

Leslie is also the author of several books, including You Can’t Eat Love and her newest release,Your Shirt Was Always Pink, which explores how we learn to question our own emotional truth—and how to begin trusting it again.

Through her writing, speaking, and workshops, she helps people understand what they’re actually feeling, where it comes from, and how good it feels when you allow your voice to be heard, seen, and witnessed.

  • Embodiment, Remembrance & Soul Healing
    2025/12/31

    Send us Fan Mail

In this heart-centered and expansive conversation, I open up about my path of awakening and the work I’m devoted to—supporting deep remembrance, embodiment, and soul-level healing.

We explore what it truly means to come home to yourself beyond conditioning, trauma, and inherited identities. I share how healing becomes sustainable when we shift out of the mind and back into the body, into present-moment awareness, where real transformation happens. At the core of this dialogue is remembrance—remembering who you are beneath the layers, and why this is a foundational part of the human experience.

This episode is for anyone navigating a spiritual path, moving through personal healing, or feeling the inner call to reconnect with their true essence.

  • From Childhood Trauma to Empowered Author
    2025/12/19

    Send us a text

    Dear adult child,

I hope you enjoy my recent conversation with the author of the best selling book "My Pretty Baby" Wendy Correa.

My Pretty Baby is a transformative memoir that chronicles Wendy Correa’s journey to heal from childhood traumas, including the death of her father when she was seven, emotionally distant older siblings, a frequently neglectful mother, and an adventurous yet violent, alcoholic stepfather. It is a story of not belonging, and the eventual healing that comes from building a chosen family.

After escaping her turbulent home life, Wendy’s path of self-discovery takes her through Buddhism, meditation, plant medicine, yoga, nature, Native American spirituality, 12-Step programs, and psychotherapy. Native American sweat lodge and vision quest ceremonies further strengthen her sobriety and mental well-being.

We also spoke about her life in the music industry and the life changing moment that changed how she saw herself after meeting Joni Mitchell and how she was able to turn her life around and seek the help she needed by choosing to live differently than her family.

I hope this episode inspires you to do the inner work and take your life back!

  • How Re-Parenting Your Five-Year-Old Inner Child Breaks Generational Trauma Patterns
    2025/12/06

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of Healing Mindset, I had the opportunity to sit down with Nazish and take a deep dive into one of the most mission-critical conversations of our time: re-parenting the five-year-old inner child. This is the age where so many of our emotional blueprints take shape—our early coding around love, safety, belonging, expression, and visibility.

I unpack how emotional imprints are formed not just in childhood, but as early as the womb. These imprints quietly drive adult behaviors—jealousy, anxiety, people-pleasing, overachieving, emotional shutdowns—and most of the time, they’re not “adult issues” at all. They’re the unspoken needs of a silenced inner child asking to be seen, held, and led.

During this conversation, I share practical, energetically aligned ways to recognize your inner child’s signals and how to respond without re-opening old wounds. Re-parenting isn’t about fault-finding—it’s about stepping into emotional leadership. It’s about becoming the deeply present, regulated, and compassionate parent your five-year-old self needed so you no longer outsource your worth to relationships, family dynamics, or performance.

If you feel blocked, disconnected from joy, or stuck replaying the same relationship patterns, this dialogue gives you grounded frameworks you can deploy across your life—work, love, family, and self-worth. You’ll walk away with a forward-looking roadmap for nervous system safety, trauma repair, and authentic self-connection that enables not just personal healing but generational transformation.

    About Me:

I’m an intuitive empath, healer, and spiritual teacher dedicated to supporting “adult children” who never had the chance to fully recover from early emotional injuries. My work centers on inner child healing, generational trauma release, and energetic re-patterning.

Through live transmissions, energy work, and guided inner journeys, I help individuals reconnect with their five-year-old self, reclaim their creativity, and build the internal safety they’ve long been missing. My core philosophy is simple: when you become the emotionally available parent you never had, everything in your life recalibrates—your relationships, your health, your leadership, and your joy.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Inner child wounds are not trendy language—they are the foundational drivers behind recurring patterns in relationships, work, and self-worth.
    • Your inner child speaks through triggers, shutdowns, and “childlike” emotional reactions. These are insights, not weaknesses.
    • Re-parenting is an act of radical ownership—stepping into the role of your most emotionally present caregiver.
    • Core emotional templates can begin forming in the womb. A mother’s internal world often becomes the child’s first nervous system environment.
    • Healing doesn’t require reliving trauma. Energy work, guided journeys, and somatic techniques can shift patterns without re-traumatizing you.
    • Many high-functioning adults are disconnected from joy. Reconnecting with your five-year-old self reignites play, creativity, and life force.
    • Inner child healing is generational risk mitigation—unaddressed wounds ripple through families, relationships, and even professional environments.

  • How Inner Child Healing Can Break Generational Trauma | Break Generational Trauma
    2025/10/19

    Send us a text

In this deeply personal episode, I open up about my journey as an Inner Child Healer—and how I help people recognize and mend the emotional wounds that often begin in childhood but quietly shape our adult lives.

I’ve learned that when pain isn’t healed, the wounded child within us grows into a hurting adult—and sometimes, without realizing it, we project that pain onto others, continuing patterns of generational trauma.

    In this conversation, I share:
    • How unhealed childhood wounds show up in our behavior and relationships
    • Why denial can keep us stuck in unspoken pain
    • The role of a safe, nurturing home in emotional healing
    • How awareness and compassion can break generational cycles
    • Simple steps you can take to start reconnecting with your inner child today

My message is simple yet profound: Healing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s how we stop passing pain forward.

Join me in this episode to understand your inner child, heal your past, and begin creating a kinder, more conscious future.
You can also connect with me on Instagram for healing sessions and daily reflections.
