    2024/07/03

    Welcome back to the podcast!

In today's episode, we talk to Alina. Alina is 29 and got a Bachelor's degree in international business. Every job she has tried that fits into that degree leaves her feeling unaligned and like there is something missing. Currently, she is working in health and benefits consulting as an analyst.

I know that a lot of you listening have been sold the college, 9-5, retirement, American Dream story from the people we love. Alina describes it as "you have to do what you hate so one day you might be able to enjoy your life". Her situation completely resonates with where I was about 5 years ago. This coaching conversation was such an important one to be having as the age of college/9-5 dies out.

I believe work is a sacred act that should be meaningful and dare I say it, even enjoyable. I really want you to consider that belief for yourself for a couple of minutes today. Here are some questions to help you dream:

-What would your work life look like if you could actually have/do what you really wanted?

-What emotions would you feel about your work/career if you were creating work from your heart?

Allow yourself to daydream about that question today.

-Then ask yourself the question "why can't I have exactly that?

You will find that the only reason you think you can't have what you want is because of fearful beliefs that others have taught you to believe. The good news? These beliefs are ONLY true if you decide they are.

  • 4. "How do you get over a relationship that you didn't want to end?"
    2024/06/19

In today's episode, I talk to Ashley about her relationship that ended abruptly about 8 months ago. Although Ashley is genuinelly okay on her own without a partner, she finds herself feeling stuck and feeling emotionally attached to her ex.

During the episode, we get to the root of why she feels stuck and then we go over some actionable steps that Ashley can take to move forward while still honoring the past.

  • 3. "I don't feel intimate with my husband anymore"
    2024/06/05

In today's episode, I coach Ashley (name changed for privacy). Ashley is a 29 year old mom who is experiencing intimacy issues in her relationship with her husband. She feels like she is being put on the "back burner" in her relationship.

During this episode, I help Ashley seperate out the facts of her relationship with how she is thinking and feeling about them. This is a foundational coaching tool that I teach all my clients. At the end, I wrap up by giving Ashely some further resources and exercises to help her with her marriage.
