Spoilers:
This story tells of a powerful lesson about gratitude and kindness. Allah tested three men from the children of Israel: a leper, a bald man, and a blind man. He sent an angel to grant them their deepest wishes. The leper wished for healthy skin, the bald man wanted hair, and the blind man asked for sight. Each was blessed with health and wealth — The leper chose camels. The bald man chose cows. The blind man chose sheep. But when the angel, disguised as a poor man, returned to ask for help, only the blind man remembered his blessings and offered to share. This tale teaches that true gratitude lies in kindness and generosity. This story is authentic, told to us by the most noble of the messengers, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and was collected by Imam Bukhari and by Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them both) in their Sahihs.
