Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. After the war, he became involved in politics, joining the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), or the Nazi Party.
By the late 1920s, Hitler had risen to prominence within the party, using his oratory skills to gain a following. While in prison, he wrote "Mein Kampf," outlining his ideology, including his beliefs about race, anti-Semitism, and nationalism.
