When Jesus rebukes the churches in Sardis and Laodicea in the third chapter of Revelation, it’s very similar to his rebuke of the Pharisees. And the church in the U.S. today is very similar to the churches he rebukes. Today I want us all to evaluate ourselves. Hopefully not, but maybe, we’ll find out that we’re more like the Pharisees than we think. And we might be more like the churches that Jesus rebuked than we hope to be.
