The success of the show spawned the jackass movie franchise, which, along with Bad Grandpa, grossed over a half a billion dollars worldwide and helped pave the way for a generation of voices to create outside the norm. Jeff also directed the wildly popular movie The Dirt, which tells the origin story of rock band Mötley Crüe.
