Hour 1 The Jets beat the Patriots 24-3 and it was a vintage Aaron Rodgers performance. Now they get 10 days of rest after playing 3 games in 11 days. They are 2-1 after 3 games, exactly what we thought they would be. The Patriots were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league, as are the Broncos, who the Jets play next week. When Rodgers is behind center on third down, there is real confidence he will convert. We have not had that around here in a long time. Last night was everything we hoped it would be when the Jets went out and got Rodgers. We also talked about the awkward interaction between Rodgers and Saleh on the sideline when the Jets went up 14-0. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sweet sounds of the Jets beating the Patriots. Rodgers explained what he said to Saleh during their sideline exchange. The Mets scored 10 runs for the third straight game as they beat the Phillies with 4 homeruns. The Yankees lost in Seattle and Juan Soto ran into a wall but he stayed in the game. Shohei Ohtani hit 3 HRs, had 10 RBIs and stole 2 bases. Oh, he also is the first ever to join the 50/50 club.
