Esmeralda was an enchanting eagle, with strong wings, sharp eyes, and beautiful feathers. She lived high up on a rocky mountain, where she loved to soar through the sky, looking down on the world below. Esmeralda loved to explore, and dreamed of visiting all the highest places in the land.
One breezy morning, Esmeralda felt like it was time to have an elevated expedition. She wanted to use her power of flight to visit places she had never been before. She decided she would gather her friends, a group of mountain goats, some friendly ravens and a slow moving tortoise, and tell them about her special quest. The animals were all keen to join her, and wanted to have a special adventure with her.
