Detective Sergeant Flynn Moran is on secondment from the Metropolitan Police in his home town of Muddlebay. Not long after Flynn arrives, the Mayor of Muddlebay is found to have overdosed on atropine. But was it accidental, or deliberate?
Even though nothing ever happens in Muddlebay, Flynn teams up with his old friend Mabel Heggarty, the local librarian, to investigate the death.
