このコンテンツについて

In her job as a congressional aid, Jessie had met all kinds of people, but until recently, they had all been human. Cogs were not human, but they looked like us and talked like us, and this presented Jessie with a mystery. There were questions she simply had to know the answers to.

Who invented these artificial people? How and why? And how did they get so human? When Jessie got to know them better, she learned that cogs had real emotions and real personalities. They had minds of their own, and what they wanted most was to be accepted as people and to be treated as equals.

And she also learned that there were those who would never accept cogs as people, who would try to poison public opinion against them, and who would use whatever means necessary - even violence - to keep them down. When Jessie decided to join her new friends in their struggle for equal rights, she quickly learned that standing up against the forces of intolerance and hate can be downright dangerous.
