このコンテンツについて
After receiving an astonishing number of male requests for a male relationship book, multiaward-winning certified relationship coach and author Tamara Neal penned His & Hers Relationship Do's & Don'ts.
I wrote His & Hers Relationship Do's & Don'ts to expose the most common, silently abusive relationships and to teach both men and women how to avoid them. Using all too real scenarios, I call out obvious red-flag behaviors such as addiction, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and adultery, but I also highlight lesser known signs of relationship trouble, including indications that a potential partner is interested only in a one-night stand. Throughout the book, I remind the listener there's only one person he or she can and should change: himself or herself.
His & Hers Relationship Do's & Don'ts skips the jargon and takes a direct approach. Each chapter is divided into three sections that include “Scenario of a Toxic Relationship”, which is filled with all the trauma and drama, some parts of which are hard to swallow - but a reality check always is. Then there's the “Let's Talk” section, which is like a heart-to-heart chat about the scenario. I skip the jargon and the traditional language of psychology here, preferring a personal approach, encouraging the listener to just recognize and reclaim a lot of what he or she might already know: to heal, we must feel. Listeners can find the self-confidence they seek only within themselves. Many victims of abusive relationships suffer in silence because they are too ashamed to tell anyone.
The conclusion is a review of the scenario from the chapter, identifying its telltale traits and discussing the red flags in the abusive person the victim missed when they first met. The listener will learn how to release anger, repair the damage from the toxic relationship, and avoid repeating the pattern. Finally, a “Today I will release and let go of...” moment has been provided at the end of each chapter.
