Let me ask you a question: Which diet and fat loss book number is this for you? One? Five? God forbid, 25?!
Losing fat is tough. The biggest issue us women face is a complete lack of information. I mean, look at how it is marketed to us in the first place. We’re told to lose "weight" all the time. Losing weight and losing fat are two completely different things.
You could lose weight and still be the unhealthiest person in the world. You can eat as much as you want and eat as healthy as you think you can, but if you follow this wrong goal, you won’t get the results you desire.
Fat loss versus weight loss is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this subject. There are so many diets out there and so many different experts with a litany of letters and abbreviations after their names. Every single one of them seems to be preaching something different. They throw a bunch of scientific research at you, with proper citations and everything, and yet the net result of all of this is confusion.
Now I’m not saying diet advice should not be backed by scientific research. However, there’s a way to present it and frankly, the way in which a lot of the popular sources out there present their information just leads you down the rabbit hole you never surface from.
All of this has the unfortunate effect of communicating to you that losing fat and getting healthy is hard. Needless to say, nothing is further from the truth! Losing fat is nowhere near as tough as it’s made out to be. If anything, I personally feel a lot of these experts make it sound complicated to justify their titles!
The key to achieving success with any diet is to implement something that you can do over and over again, without thinking or fretting about it. It should adapt to your lifestyle, not the other way around.
