William A. Ritter is a highly regarded retired United Methodist pastor who, in addition to having served significant churches, taught coursework in preaching at Duke Divinity School. At the time of publication, he had just celebrated his 80th birthday, but his words reflect a far-from-dated style, full of insightful energy.
