If you've ever wondered what it would really be like to have the ability to influence others, then keep reading...
Persuasion involves influencing others to see your point of view. People who have mastered the art of persuasion easily rise to leadership positions. Why? People listen to them, trust them, and follow them. In business, persuasion will get you partners, financiers, and most importantly, clients. Expert persuaders make great marketers. Persuasion skills come in handy in every area of life. You have ideas that deserve to be heard, and your ability to convince others is your first step to getting them implemented.
Take the time to study your subjects. Who are they? What do they like? What challenges do they face? What solutions are they looking for? Irrespective of whether you are selling a house, organizing a company team-building, or trying to convince the neighbors to form a community welfare group, you have to show interest in the people first. It flatters people when you show concern for the issues affecting them. They grow to like and trust you. They’re convinced that any ideas that you come up with are for their good, and you’ll find it easy to influence them.
You will learn:
- How to recognize these techniques, defend yourself and use them in your favor
- How to read people and body language
- How to figure out if someone is trying to control your mind and how to stop them
- What are proven methods of defending yourself from being manipulated
- How NLP techniques are used in purchasing induction
- How to intercept covert emotional manipulation to prevent brainwashing
Even with the most savage persuasion skills, you won’t always get a positive reply. And that is okay. Perhaps, the ideas you’re presenting are not fit for that particular time. Or, for that particular audience. Don’t take it personally. Don’t cut links or begrudge people who don’t accept your ideas. You can still relate to other matters. A rejection of your ideas or views should not be viewed as the rejection of you as a person. Maintain mutual relationships. It’s a small world - you never know when your paths will cross.
