あらすじ・解説
Sewists, you deserve a good laugh. Beth is a former president of her local sewing guild and loves to sew. Rich has a lot of time on his hands after retiring early. Follow the humorous antics of these two as they adjust to his new found freedom.
He wants to micromanage her days, and she just wants to sew! You’ll relate to their back and forth and chuckle at the anecdotes within. The only problem being how to put it down to get something else done, or finish work on a sewing project.
Have you ever wondered:
- What Bigfoot and sewing stashes have in common?
- If you, too, are a Button Snob?
- What makes up the psyche of a Seamstress?
- Why it’s so easy to push a seamstress’s
- Buttons but impossible to push a thread?
- What girly pants and underpanties have to do with a sewist’s spouse?
Rich has lived with Beth’s sewing for 46 years. It has worn off on him through some osmosis-like process and while some aspects are welcomed, some he’s not so sure.
“I alternated between knowing nods, giggles and guffaws of recognition as he recalled the impact of his wife Beth's fabric obsession…” (Nancy Nix-Rice, author, image & wardrobe strategist)
Previously his humorous articles were published in national magazines, Threads and Notions; this is his first book! You’ll not find many books with sewing humor; treat yourself to this humorous short listen today.
