The Calling is a collection of short fictional stories that were either inspired by my personal life and the lives of people I know, or by my passion for anything true-crime, thriller, and horror related.
This collection is an homage to those genres, but also to the concepts of love and friendship. It is a tribute to those who have been victims of senseless violence. I named the collection after the first short story in the book, which is also the first story I wrote, inspired by something that happened to me on the New York subway.
