Aryn has never been like other 12-year-old girls in Meadowvale. There, Aryn meets the fallen Elf King and learns about an ancient prophecy that is somehow wrapped up in her own fate.
With the help of her new friends - a resourceful gnome named Gerryditto and an outspoken fairy named Franzella - Aryn embarks on an adventure to find the Elf King’s stolen crown. But does a tomboy from Meadowvale have what it takes to rescue a king? And exactly what else does this prophecy about the girl from Sickle Grove Lane mean for Aryn?
As she searches for a way to find the stolen Phoenix Crown and save the kingdom of Kalos, what she really discovers is the hero within, a hero who isn’t afraid to get dirty fighting monsters instead of being rescued from them.
