A washed-up musical composer has one last chance to be remembered as one of the greats. In his glory days, Malcolm's career was built on his ability to transfer his emotions into his songs, feeding them to his listeners and losing them forever. After years of not feeling, he now has enough of himself back to either live in peace or to perform his masterpiece. The Rhythmancer must choose to love or to sacrifice his humanity on the altar of fame.
