Hi friends! Salut les amis! Catch Me in the Kitchen proudly presents our second audiobook. Join Professor Pineapple and storytellers Ginette Mohr and Stephen LaFrenie for joyful adaptations of classic tales. As always, The Pickle Peppers light up the party with original songs, so grab a plate and we’ll see you in the kitchen! A bientôt!
Story 1: "Goldilocks and the Three Bears"
Goldilocks follows a toad to the edge of a forest. A sign on a tree there reads, "Forêt Dangereuse", which means "dangerous forest". Goldilocks takes a close look and says, “Well, if there’s anything I know, it’s French, and ‘dangereuse’ means 'welcome'!” The story of a young girl who ventures far from home and stumbles on the empty house of three bears.
Story 2: "Lupus Maximus and the Shepherd Boy"
Suddenly, the wolf jumped out and said, “Hey there! You’re the kid who guards the sheep, right? I’m always right! I’m the most handsome, most daring, most modestly humble, cleverest clever wolf in all the province of Ontario. I am Lupus Maximus!” See what happens when a shepherd boy plays too many practical jokes.
Story 3: "The Little Red Hen’s Birthday"
It’s the Little Red Hen’s special day! Who is going to help make the cake? The cat is practicing being a ninja, the duck is playing the piano, and the dog is chasing his tail! A joyful retelling of the classic story about the importance of caring for each other.
