A serious street-cop, Brett O'Shea wants to make detective. Brett's no-nonsense belief in the supernatural world is put to the test when a ghost, Al, appears and announces that he's been sent to help Brett catch a serial killer. Brett is forced to work with the unpredictable ghost, much to his annoyance. As the pair go after the killer, they quickly discover the killer has unnatural abilities.
