This episode is a conversation with Shann Ray Ferch. I found this to be a conversation filled with kindness and healing. Dr. Ferch explores balancing love and power in healthy ways, countering inappropriate ambition and power drive, and more healthy ways of relating to and being with one another in basketball, and in our families and communities.
Dr. Shann Ferch is a Professor of Leadership & Forgiveness Studies with the internationally renowned PhD program in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University. Dr. Ferch has served as a visiting scholar in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, is the editor of the International Journal of Servant-Leadership, and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Ferch is also an award-winning author of poetry, prose, and leadership and political theory. His works include Forgiveness and Power in the Age of Atrocity: Servant-Leadership as a Way of Life, American Copper, and American Masculine.
