What happens on the road stays on the road, right? Not always! After a brief hiatus from recording, I am back after 6,500 km's of road travel from BC to Yukon. It was quite a journey, and if I had more time, I'd share more stories. In today's episode you will hear my perspective of travel from Vancouver Island to the beautiful Yukon Territory. During travel I went for almost 5 days with no cell coverage, no internet and no use of electricity. I saw moose, porcupine, bison, deer, caribou, mountain goats, black bears, fox, coyotes and of course, our 13 year old poodle. It's amazing how a journey back to basics can rejuvenate your inner soul. This full length episode includes a musical interlude at the shores of Toad River, and a chat with a traveler from Lansing Michigan who shared the story of his flute.
