  • It's fair to say that, for all British football fans, knowing that this is the last Match of the Day season with the great Gary Lineker is emotional. He has been an ever-present in many of our lives, and it's such a shame to see him leave. We're not saying that he felt threatened by our podcast and incredible knowledge of the game - we are simply pointing out the mere coincidence that Lineker chooses to retire in the same year that we began this podcast. Nevertheless, we will stand in for him... alright?!
