  • 🎙️ Today, Michael & Emery talks with our brilliant guest - Andrew Yang. Andrew is a Forbes 30 under 30 alumni, graduate of the University of Toronto and previously worked in technology sales for Toronto-based Joist and GE Ventures under the New Business Creation team as an EIR. Been passionate about Web3 and blockchain since 2015, first as a currency, then how the tech could apply to industrial supply chains and now how it can totally reinvent brand-consumer engagement online. 


    Cultos is a web3 loyalty platform to help brands drive the consumer outcomes they want (such as higher LTV, net new-consumers or first-party data) by offering a compelling incentive for consumers using tokens. Loyalty programs have lower and lower engagement particularly with Gen-Z (and now Gen Alpha), and traditional online advertisement just isn't working anymore. Cultos solves that by giving consumers a tokenized reward which they can exchange across any brand (as opposed to points), or cash out immediately. Brands get highly engaged consumers who actively promote their products to their social network and ultimately buy more products. Cultos we work with massive brands MGA Entertainment (Bratz, LOL Surprise!), NBA teams (the San Antonio Spurs) to incentivize strong consumer loyalty across commerce, affiliate commerce, mobile, gaming and influencer channels.
