  • We often times believe REST is JUST Sleep or "quiet time,"  but I think having hobbies is restful as well.  Whether it be reading, cooking, or having a collection, I think God puts these things in our path so we do not just get rest of the body, but of the mind.  

    "Rest" is defined as "peace, ease or refreshment,"  "Relax" means "to become loose or less firm, to have a milder manner, to be less stiff."  The Bible speaks quite highly of rest.  It is a repeated theme throughout Scripture, beginning with the creation week.
