Just like staying at your buddy's place can be nicer than staying in a rental hosted by a stranger, having planets in mutual reception with each other can provide support and resourcing that can strengthen the condition of a planet. In this podcast episode, astrologers Alicia Cielle Heiser @aliciacielle and Lori Kaufman @lorik_127 discuss mutual reception in a birth chart. We go over how to identify and interpret planets in mutual reception. We also discuss the nuance of whether mutual reception counts if the planets are in aversion to each other. NOTE: Alicia was thinking on the fly in this episode trying to come up with an example of two exalted planets being in mutual reception. She used the Sun in Aries and Mars in Capricorn as an example, which is NOT a form of mutual reception as Mars in Capricorn is not in the sign ruled by the Sun (Leo).
