Oh! Sweet Music is the music podcast where every Wednesday, Sophie will spend 10 - 20 minutes delving into a song inspired by an event in music history. Join her every Wednesday to hear more about the meaning and history of songs inspired by an event, which occurred on the date each podcast is released. Oh! Sweet Music will cover a variety of genres, eras, artists and bands. There is truly something for everyone!
This week Sophie chats about Martha My Dear by The Beatles, inspired by Paul McCartney being convicted of cultivating cannabis on his farm in Campbeltown, Scotland, on the 8th of March 1973.
