DonnaJean Wilde hails from Welling, Canada in the Alberta province. She has been a teacher, coach, and vice principal in her career, and she relishes time with her 5 kids and 12 grandchildren. A runner for most of her life, DonnaJean now loves to skip, also known as jumping rope, and she and her husband work out almost daily in their home gym. She has never been the type to want to steal the spotlight, but she is now being recognized for her recent world record of holding the longest time in an abdominal plank position by a female. What started out as an exercise she could do with a broken wrist has grown to something special. The previous record was 4 hours, 19 minutes, and 55 seconds, and she surpassed it with a time of 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 11 seconds.
