Pietro is joined by dystopian Fast Fiction writer, polemicist, libertarian, and all-round hater of collectivism, John Goddard.
They explore the ever-narrowing differences between the dystopias we read (and in John's case write) about, and the reality of the actual world. John also discusses his thoughts on the perversion of the law, and how governments exploit civilians' desire for safety and altruism to expand their own remits. They talk about taxes, and public sector expansion, the NDIS, foreign wars (Ukraine-Russia, Israel-Palestine).
They look at some possible libertarian solutions to the woes of the world, including micro-nations, secession movements, political solutions, and much more.
John also gives his thoughts on the US election, and how the storyline of the last few weeks has been too unbelievable for even a dystopian fictional story.
