#73 Steroids And Their Role in Your Failure.

  • As a great Canadian Coach and the inventor of vertical Periodization, Charlie Francis said:

    "...the dramatic improvement of their performance could only be explained in that way. In his opinion, in order to compete successfully against those athletes at the very top level, an athlete had to take steroids."

    But it's not about steroids, but about "garage lifters" feeling frustrated not being able to complete the program they bought or falling short of the demands of their Coach - not all programs are created equal!

    Volume and Intensity tolerance vary much between the clean and enhanced athletes - one can barely grind a week, while the other can tolerate the same weekly volume in a single session...
