Julie Doan, a pharmacist since 2011, has a diverse background in healthcare settings, including acute and ambulatory care, telepharmacy, as well as experience as a clinical project manager overseeing the implementation of an electronic prescriber at a tertiary care center.
The stress associated with the latter role led Julie to explore different tools to better manage the mental overload and professional burnout she felt. This is how she ultimately discovered the transformative benefits of mindfulness meditation and life coaching. Embracing these practices in her daily life, Julie pursued extensive training to become a certified life coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF-ACC) and a meditation teacher.
Leveraging her dual expertise in pharmacy and coaching, Julie empowers fellow healthcare professionals to cultivate internal resources for stress management and enhance their emotional and mental well-being. Through her coaching sessions and guidance, she supports individuals in the healthcare industry in achieving a healthier work-life balance and navigating challenges with resilience and clarity
