A Sketch Of The Sky is a talk show hosted by Riyad Maroof Hassan and you are hearing Season 01 Episode 05 featuring Children's Climate Change 2019 recipient and young innovator, Vinisha Umashankar, produced by The Clippers.
Vinisha Umashankar studies in Grade X at SKP Vanitha International School. She has been conferred the Children’s Climate Change prize for designing a mobile Solar Ironing Cart to power a steam iron box through the help of solar panels.
She has also been awarded Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2019 in the Best Woman Innovator Category. She started her interest in Science and Technology since the age of five when her dad gifted her a Science Encyclopedia. She has been working on different types of products that could prevent the spread of diseases that include COVID-19.
