Brian Clark had as close as an encounter as one could have on the historical day of September 11, 2001. He was on the 84th floor of the South tower of the World Trade Center when it was hit by an airplane in what would be known as the worst terror attack on U.S. soil.

He was one of the lucky ones that day, one of only 18 people to escape from within or above where the plane struck.

Brian is here to share his experience from that day, 23 years later. He walks us through the events on the day leading up to the attack, what he thought when the first tower was hit and when he knew that this was an act of terror and not an accident.

Brian shares the choices and decisions he had to make that followed his tower being hit that led him safely down 84 flights of stairs and also the mysterious new found friend he would find along the way

Have you ever passed a homeless person on the street and thought to yourself, how did they get here? Have you ever passed judgment and thought, “that would never happen to me?” Or assumed it was their own fault they ended up in this situation?

  • Empty Nesting & Finding Your Purpose Past Raising Kids - with Suzanne Mayernick, Mother of 8 and Founder of Love One International
    2024/04/24

Are your kids getting ready to leave for college? Are you trying to manage all the emotions that come with that but still not feeling ready? What does life look like when they go? How do we set up a great foundation so that our relationship with them stays strong even when they aren’t under our roof?

Suzanne Mayernick knows a thing or two about raising kids and maintaining a solid relationship with them once they leave for school and beyond. We discuss all the feelings leading up to the oldest leaving and she offers a great perspective on how to look at it.

Suzanne also tells us about her 9th “child”, her passion project Love One International, a center in Uganda that receives, rehabilitates and resettles malnourished children.

We talk about marriage and how it ebbs and flows through raising kids and the importance of making sure you still know (and like) the person you married beyond having kids.

I can’t wait for you to listen as I know so many of you are gearing up to send your kids off to school this year.

Suzannes story will leave you feeling inspired, hopeful and with some great ideas to utilize with your own kids.
