Rob and Mandy take you on a sunny journey through the breathtaking Canary Islands, where history, culture, and natural beauty collide. In 2023, we had the incredible opportunity to explore two of the islands' most iconic cities: Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz in Tenerife.

We’ll share our impressions of the lively streets of Las Palmas, a city blending its rich colonial history with a modern, cosmopolitan vibe. From the vibrant Vegueta district, filled with cobbled streets and charming plazas, to the stunning beaches like Las Canteras, we’ll take you through the sights, sounds, and flavors of this beautiful island.

Next, we hop over to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of Tenerife. You’ll hear about the city’s famous Auditorio de Tenerife, its lively market scene, and the peaceful green oasis of Parque García Sanabria. Of course, we couldn't leave without talking about the striking contrasts of Tenerife’s natural beauty, from the rugged volcanic landscapes of Mount Teide to the lush, tropical gardens that make Santa Cruz unique.
