Today, we are in two exciting chapters, 1 Kings 18 and 19, the ups and downs of the Prophet Elijah. Is your Christian life consistent, or are you like Elijah, up and down?

Today, we are in 1 Kings 16 and 17. Chapter 16 will be a list of more evil kings in Israel, but chapter 17 introduces Elijah. Is God your provider? Do you trust Him?

In 1 Kings 14 and 15, we are going to see the end of the reigns of Jeroboam and Rehoboam, the first kings under the divided kingdoms of Israel. It goes downhill from there. Only one of the next several kings of Judah, or the ten tribes of Israel, does right in the sight of the Lord. Where is your heart?

In 1 Kings 12 and 13, we see the beginning of the fall of the united kingdom of Israel. Where do you get your advice from? Who do you listen to? Can you discern the voice of God from the voices of men?

Today brings us to 1 Kings 11. It is a sad chapter as Solomon turns away from the Lord. What has, or can, turn your heart from the Lord?

Today, we cover two chapters, 9 and 10. We are going to see the Lord appear to Solomon and then Solomon’s great wisdom and wealth on display. Are you blessed beyond measure? Solomon was. Can you be too?

1 Kings 8 is one of the greatest chapters in all of 1 and 2 Kings. It is the dedication of the temple. Solomon prays. How is your prayer life?
