No I in team… But you can’t spell Max Verstappen without ME!!!
Let’s not let drama get in the way of the real story here… George Russell is a F1 Grand Prix winner! George lands Mercedes their first win for the 2022 season, while Hamilton finishes P2 for their first 1-2 of the season as well.
Carlos Sainz managed a difficult race to take the last spot on the podium while Charles Leclerc took home P4. Leclerc & Perez are in a tough battle for P2 in the overall drivers standings which leads to the controversy of the weekend.
Verstappen was instructed to let Perez by to land him more points in the drivers championship… But Max refused. In the end, Perez finished P7 with Max in P6 and both Perez & Leclerc are tied on points going into the final round of the 2022 season.
