  • The US Open delivers drama..
    2024/06/18
This weeks episode of ATP Golf sees the arrival of a new US Open Champion and the departure of a host…
Bryson was back at his best and has been knocking on the door in the majors this year and finally got over the line with what can only be described as the hardest bunker shot in golf.
The Rory train has come off the tracks and denied us off the playoff that we all wanted.
This week also sees host Erik announce his departure from the show as a full time host. With a new business and lots going Erik moves on to focus on the next chapter of his golfing career. He’s welcome back any time.
We will be taking a couple of weeks off while we regroup and come back stronger.

  • Taming the Untamed: US Open Challenges and Bold Predictions
    2024/06/11
This week, Erik and Craig dive into the upcoming US Open at Pinehurst, marking the 124th edition of this prestigious tournament. Pinehurst is known for its stunning yet brutally challenging greens that never seem to stop moving. Erik, admittedly exhausted from his tireless efforts to launch The Golf Armory, shares his awe and slight dread at the difficulty these greens present, likening them to some of the hardest golf in the world.
Tune in as the duo make their predictions for the tournament, encouraging listeners to hear their proven picks. Erik makes one of his boldest calls yet, picking Lynn Grant to win the Mixed Scandinavian Open tournament. There ain’t no way any other podcaster chose Lynn Grant to win, but she did, proving Erik’s instincts right. Meanwhile, Soderbergh should have won but ultimately had no chance.
In the LPGA, Linnea Storm shot an incredible 60, narrowly missing a shot at 59. The episode wraps up with updates from Craig and Erik, including exciting news about The Golf Armory. The website is launching this week at http://thegolfarmory.com. Check it out, grab a gift card or shirt, and support the venture just like Craig does.
Join us for insights, laughs, and some friendly competition in this week’s episode of Across the Pond Golf.
