    A note from Anupriya
"Hello, I am Anupriya Karande, A 24-year-old creative bald head practicing interior design who also loves exploring new places, food and clicking pictures of everything that catches my eyes.

I was diagnosed with Alopecia when I was 13 and soon enough I was bald with absolutely no hair on my body or head.

Alopecia brought me to the lowest lows, I struggled with major anxiety and depression for years. But all the bad that seems to plague me, I swear this autoimmune disease brought me so much good. My parents gifted me a wig which boosted my confidence but somewhere I felt I was living in a world of my own.

Alopecia has helped me see through artificial beauty and slowly I began to understand that hair is not what defines me, I am so much more than that. This helped me accept things the way they are I have become more comfortable in my own skin than ever before.
I embrace my uniqueness and it helped me grow a thicker skin to jokes and comments. I have realized so many things and the most important one being 'Everything happens for a reason
It's not about your skin tone, shape, size, or anything that bothers you about your body. It's so much more than that and once you stop sympathizing with yourself for everything you are not, you'll truly see what and who you are! So let's be Imperfectly Perfect people.
